What is Generic Xenical?
Generic Xenical (orlistat) is a prescription-based medicine that aids obese people in losing weight more rapidly. It is used with a calorie-deficient diet. Then only this medicine works efficiently. Is there any reason why one should not use Generic Xenical?
Do not take Generic Xenical without consulting your health professional if you have chronic malabsorption syndrome, gallbladder issues, diabetes mellitus, anorexia or bulimia, using other weight-loss medicine, taking cyclosporine (Sandimmune, Neoral), or history of kidney stones. You might not take Generic Xenical or need to adjust the dosage or special monitoring if you have any of the conditions mentioned above.
Can pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers use Generic Xenical?
Generic Xenical is in the FDA pregnancy category B. It means this drug will harm your baby. Do not take Xenical without a doctor’s consultation when you are pregnant. It is not known whether Xenical breaches into breast milk. Therefore, nursing women should evade taking this drug.
