Description
Generic Keppra is a prescription medicine that is often used in association with other medicines to treat the symptoms of seizures, or epilepsy. It contains a prescription drug called Levetiracetam, which belongs to the class of drugs called anticonvulsants. The drug may help reduce the frequency and number of seizure attacks you have.
Generic Keppra is advised as an adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial onset seizures in adults with a history of epilepsy. It is also advised in association with other drugs for the treatment of myoclonic seizures in adults and people who are above 12 years of age with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. In addition, it is used for the treatment of primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures.
