What is Penegra?
Penegra is a generic medicine, taken in the form of a tablet, to treat the symptoms of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men aged 18 and above. Penegra is one of the versions of Generic Viagra because it contains sildenafil citrate too. The medicine works by helping to relax tiny blood vessels in the penile organ, allowing blood to flow into the organ when you get sexually aroused. Penegra will only help you to experience an erection if you are sexually aroused.
How does Penegra work?
Penegra (sildenafil) works by inhibiting a specific enzyme called PDE5 (phosphodiesterase); therefore, it is called a PDE5 inhibitor. Upon PDE5 inhibition, the body stops the degradation of cyclic Guanosine Monophosphate (cGMP), which eventually allows the body to release nitric oxide during sexual stimulation. Nitric oxide boosts penile blood flow to cause an erection. Please note that the medicine works only in the presence of sexual stimulation.
How should I take Penegra?
If you have decided to take Penegra pills to treat your ED problem, you should swallow one whole pill with a glass of water an hour before you want to have sex. Please note that you cannot take more than one pill a day. Penegra 100 mg dose should not be taken with a heavy meal, alcohol, or grapefruits. Once you have taken the dose, the drug will stay active in your body for up to 4 to 5 hours.
What are the common side effects of Penegra?
You may or may experience some side effects after taking Penegra. Common side effects can include headaches, nausea, feeling dizzy, hot flushes, blurred vision, and back pain. Talk to your doctor if you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, a prolonged erection (over 3 hours), extreme dizziness, or palpitations. Penegra is not for those who have had experienced allergic reactions with sildenafil.
Is there a difference between Penegra and Viagra?

The main difference between these two ED drugs is the price, where this generic version of sildenafil costs you less than $2, while the blue pill costs you over $50. Other subtle differences include inactive ingredients, packaging, labeling, and pill color, size, or shape.
